Copper EV Cables

JT Mobility Copper cable is an essential component of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, used to transfer electrical energy from the charging station to the EV's battery system. Our EV charging copper cables are typically made from high-quality copper wire, which is coated with a layer of insulation to protect against electrical interference and damage. The cable's thickness and length depend on the charging capacity required by the EV. Level 2 charging typically requires a cable thickness of 2.5 to 6 mm², while Level 3 fast charging requires a cable thickness of up to 70 mm².

 

JT Mobility Copper cables used in EV charging are designed to handle high levels of electrical current and withstand the harsh environmental conditions in which they are used. They must be able to transfer electrical energy efficiently without overheating, which can cause damage to the cable and the EV's battery system. The copper cable's ability to handle high levels of electrical current directly affects the charging speed and efficiency of the EV. Our Copper cables used in EV charging are designed to be durable and long-lasting. They are made from high-quality materials that can withstand extreme temperatures, weather conditions, and physical wear and tear. The insulation layer provides additional protection against damage, and the cable's connectors are designed to be secure and prevent accidental disconnections during charging.


EV charging cables are used to connect electric vehicle charging devices and charging infrastructure to transmit power to electric vehicles and are equipped with a certain amount of signal lines, control lines, power auxiliary lines, etc. to ensure accurate control of the entire charging process and safe operation. Charging cables are generally used in charging stations, parking lots, hotels, communities, garages, and other areas. JT Mobility electric vehicle cable (EV Cable) are engineered to meet international standards IEC 62893 and accordance with this new EN 50620 standard. and offer superior durability for indoor and outdoor charging stations.

JT Mobility offer TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethane) and TPE (Thermo Plastic Elastomer) for Insulation and outer Sheath for high strength and softness property. Cable sheath is made from high performance material which possess characteristic as weather ability, high & low temperature resistance, rub resistance etc. Our high-quality oxygen-free copper conductor ensures excellent conductive effect, the cable is soft, elastic, flex index and won’t harden in low temperature.
