JT Mobility electric vehicle (EV) inlet socket is an essential component of EV charging infrastructure that allows for the transfer of electrical energy from the EV charging cable to the EV's battery system. The inlet socket is located on the side of the EV and is designed to be compatible with the charging cable used to charge the vehicle.
The EV inlet sockets are designed to be compatible with specific charging standards, such as Type 2 (AC) and CCS (DC). The Type 2 inlet socket is designed for use with Level 2 charging, which uses an AC power supply to charge the EV's battery. CCS inlet sockets are designed for use with Level 3 fast charging, which uses a DC power supply to charge the battery system.
Our EV inlet sockets are designed to be durable, reliable, and easy to use. They are typically made from high-quality materials, such as thermoplastics or metal alloys, to ensure longevity and withstand the harsh environments in which they are used. The inlet socket also features a locking mechanism that secures the charging cable to the vehicle, preventing accidental disconnections during charging.
The charging speed of an EV depends on the inlet socket's compatibility with the charging standard. Level 2 charging, using the Type 2 inlet socket, typically provides a charging capacity of up to 22 kW, while Level 3 fast charging, using the CCS inlet socket, can provide a charging capacity of up to 350 kW, allowing for rapid charging of EVs.
JT Mobility EV inlet socket is a vital component of EV charging infrastructure that allows for efficient and convenient charging of EVs. They are designed to be durable, reliable, and easy to use, and are compatible with specific charging standards, ensuring that the EV is charged correctly and efficiently.
Type-2 Male Inlet Socket IEC-62196-2
JT Mobility Type 2 inlet socket (male), single phase/ three phase is intended for installation in the vehicle side for a maximum of 32A. The socket complies a high-quality insulating thermoplastic coating that provides IP55 protection against dust and water ingress from all sides. The socket is ready for 4-point fixing and the screw and available with 0.5 Meter cable at another end as optional.
Type-2 Female Inlet Socket IEC-62196-2
JT Mobility type 2 socket (Female) is intended for installation in a charging point for a maximum of 3 phase 32A. Only to be used in combination with an EVSE controller. iThe socket complies a high-quality insulating thermoplastic coating that provides IP55 protection against dust and water ingress from all sides and has a water drainage hole. The socket is ready for 4-point fixing and the screw end is wire-type with 0.5 Meter wire optional.
CCS-2 Male Inlet Socket IEC-62196-3, 60A to 200A
JT Mobility Combined Charging System (CCS) is based on open and universal standards for electric vehicles. The CCS combines single-phase with rapid three-phase charging using alternating current at a maximum of 43 kilowatts (kW), as well as direct-current charging at a maximum of 200 kW and the future perspective of up to 350 kW – all in a single system. It also manages communications between the electric vehicle and the infrastructure. As a result, it provides a solution to all necessary charging requirements. The Combo CCS2 charging inlet socket are available in 200A. It’s combined alternating current (AC) Type 2 charging and direct current (DC) CCS fast charge in one inlet. With optional cable and Secure electromagnetic locking actuator, which can lock the charging plug and inlet during the charging process.
